Camp Merrie-Woode is situated in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 60 miles southwest of Asheville, NC. Merrie-Woode is secluded in a beautiful rhododendron, hemlock, and hardwood forest. Our elevation of 3,200 feet ensures a comfortable and invigorating climate.
Camp Merrie-Woode seeks to provide a maximum opportunity for fun and growth in a wilderness setting and is a place where every girl is supported as an individual while expanding her awareness of the world around her.
Company History
Camp Merrie-Woode was founded in 1919, and from its earliest years has been built around the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. At Merrie-Woode, we aim to teach moral values and inspire high personal standards.
