Accredited, family-owned and -operated, highly successful camp for over 75 years; breathtaking location on a large inland lake within the Nicolet National Forest. 15 minutes away from the lovely resort town of Eagle River. Girls age 7-17 enjoy exciting, empowering activities that include water skiing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, arts & crafts, drama, and wilderness trips.
Company History
Family owned and operated, Camp Nicolet for Girls was founded in 1944 by Ann and Wendall Schrader. For more than five decades, the Schraders were leaders in the field of camping. They dedicated themselves to providing one of the finest camping programs and facilities in the country. A place where campers learn to live together in friendship and harmony. Perpetuating the family tradition, Georgianna Schrader Starz and son Jeremy oversee the year-round operation of the camp.
