Company Overview
Founded in 1959, Camp Walden prides itself on its beautiful setting, outstanding facilities and unwavering dedication to the philosophy of traditional camping. We believe in giving children choice in their activites and, by doing so, helping them become more confident, independent individuals. Our program encompasses not only an extensive list of athletics and waterfront activities, but also drama, dance, fine arts, music, media, nature, horsebackriding and much more. In this way, we cater to children with a wide variety of interests, who come to us from more than a dozen states and several foreign countries.
Company History
Camp Walden was founded in 1959 by Larry Stevens and Neal Schechter, school teachers and summer camp veterans.
