Company Profile

Company Overview

Germantown Academy Day Camp & Summer Programs began in 1969 to meet the summer needs of neighborhood children in Fort Washington.

Over the next 20 years, many GA faculty members developed specific camps in sports, science, theater, academics and art. Beginning in 1990, these camps were organized under one name, Germantown Academy Day Camp & Summer Programs.

Today, we are pleased to be entering our 46th year of offering campers in the Greater Philadelphia area an opportunity to learn, play, and grow in the safest of environments.

Company History

Germantown Academy is situated upon 126 beautiful acres, and after a 2010 remodel, the campus boasts the latest in classroom technology, athletic facilities (including three artificial turf fields), and environmental resources.

The Wissahickon Creek runs directly through the campus, providing a wonderful natural landscape for our campers to explore. Walking and biking trails wind through the woods, punctuated by a ropes course and zip-line. The Preserve, also engineered in 2010, is the focal point of the nature curriculum for our students and campers.
