-Camp Elliott Barker-
Located near the town of Angel Fire, Camp Barker offers accommodations in platform tents or cabins. Programs focus on high adventure activities with trips out of camp for river rafting, rock climbing and horse programs. Staff has a wide variety of experience including art, canoeing, backpacking, and outdoor cooking . Skills working at high elevations and with older girls as well as traditional Girl Scout programming is desired. The weather is warm in the day with cool nights.

-Rancho del Chaparral-
Located in the Jemez mountain range, Rancho is a traditional, rustic camp with a wide range of accommodations from platform tents to adirondacks. Program features horses and traditional camp activities with a focus on nature, science, art, leadership, and team work. Staff has a wide variety of experience from performing arts background to multi-day camping. Skills working with all age ranges with a variety of outdoor skills, such as hiking, nature exploration and traditional Girl Scout programming is good as well. The weather is warm in the day with cool nights.

-How to choose which camp is right for you-
Each of our two camps is unique and offers a different selection of programs, sites and schedules.
Programs are designed around outdoor skills, horse program, leadership development, high adventure, art, science, and the five outcomes of Girl Scouts (strong sense of self, positive values, challenge seeking, healthy relationships, and community problem solving). Groups range in size from 6-16 girls with 1-2 counselors working with each group. Counselors will have an opportunity to choose which theme and age group they would like to work with. Programs run Sunday to Friday with special weekend programs for Troops and Families. All positions include room and board.
