Company Overview
Quinipet Camp and Retreat Center is owned an operated by the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We offer traditional day and overnight camping programs to youth ages 4 through 17. Located on Shelter Island, New York, Quinipet's picturesque bay side setting is well suited to offer specialized water activities like sailing, kayaking, and wakeboarding in addition to traditional camp activities. We strive to show God's love to our campers through engaging in play, and meaningful relationships. Come and join us!
Company History
Quinipet was original founded in 1922 as a boy's summer camp. It was then purchased by the United Methodist Church in 1947 and converted to a traditional, co-ed summer camp & retreat center. We have been offering Christian camping & retreat opportunities ever since!
