Company Overview
Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center is a Coed Summer Performing Arts Camp for ages 8-18, located in Loch Sheldrake, NY (about 2 hours northwest of NYC in the heart of the Catskill Mountains). Our program is designed for youth interested in intensive exposure to the world of theatre, in a Summer Stock style setting. Both our students & staff are recruited from all over the world and tend to return to us for several seasons. We produce 42 full-scale productions per season, in our 8 on-site theatres (ranging from black box to proscenium). We seek to employ energetic, youth oriented, hard working & fun loving individuals age 21 & older.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Stagedoor is camp the book THEATER GEEK was written about and CAMP: THE MOVIE was based upon. Famous Alumni include: Ansel Elgort, Zach Braff, Sebastian Stan, Natalie Portman, Robert Downey Jr, Josh Charles, Jon Cryer, Erich Bergen, & Lea Michele.
