Company Profile

The Greater Richmond ARC

Company Overview

In 1954, a small, dedicated group of Richmond area families started a grassroots organization that is today known as The Greater Richmond ARC. In partnership with families, we create life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. We envision a community where all people with disabilities are healthy and safe, enjoy economic independence, live where they choose, and participate in activities that create a fulfilling life for them.

Creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities takes a dynamic, committed, and top-notch workforce. The Greater Richmond ARC is always looking for good candidates to join our team. We look to hire innovative, knowledgeable, team-oriented, and reliable employees to staff our many programs and locations.

The Greater Richmond ARC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All hiring decisions are based on non-discriminatory factors without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, or status as a Vietnam Era, special disabled, other covered, or newly separated veteran. In addition, the Greater Richmond ARC engages in affirmative action efforts, where appropriate, to employ, train, and promote qualified minorities, women, the disabled, and Vietnam Era, special disabled, other covered, or newly separated veterans.
